Acceptable & Non Acceptable Waste
ReGyp accepts and recycles all board products in all forms, including waste generated from manufacturers, new construction, demolition, fit-out, strip-out and renovation sites. The ReGyp solution is 100% efficient, with all plasterboard & gyprock waste recycled into usable products.
Acceptable Waste
We recycle gyprock, plasterboard and cornice from CSR,
Boral, Lafarge
and BGC, including:
• Plasterboard board off-cuts
• Complete boards or broken parts
• Gypsum ceilings, floors, walls & cornice
• Gypsum board
• Gypsum blocks, gypsum prefab wall panels eg RFC rapid wall
• Chemical precipitate gypsum (eg FGD)
Non Acceptable Waste
• Plastics and foils
• Insulation materials (eg Rockwool)
• Steel rails and bars

• Asbestos & other impurities
• Horsehair plaster

• Up to 2% contamination allowed (screening equip limit)
• PENALTIES imposed for contaminated loads

Did you know?
Acceptable clean
plasterboard waste can include up to a maximum of 2% contamination, including nails,
screws and various wall coverings. Each load of waste is inspected for
contamination and PENALTIES apply for
non-conforming loads.
ReGyp uses DATS skip bins for efficient and cost effective skip bin and waste
bag services.
