Bulk Density & Weight

Plasterboard waste is a surprising low weight waste. Typically the waste is no more than 0.2 to 0.25 tonnes per cubic meter. Therefore a typical 30 cubic meter container generally weighs no more than 6 tonnes.

Standard 1200x10 plasterboard weighs between 6.1 to 6.3.kg/m2,

So it takes 155 to 170m2 of board to make up a tonne of waste.
