Flocculation
ReGyp gypsum is suitable for flocculation to reduce water turbidity.
Construction sites are required to install measures to retain and stabilize
the disturbed sediment with in the site. If water discharged from the
construction site is very turbid from the suspended clays and fine silts
that are very difficult to settle out, flocculation using Gypsum is the most
practical and least expensive option for most situations.
Rehabilitation/Revegetation
ReGyp gypsum is widely used for land rehabilitation and site revegetation.
ReGyp gypsum improves soil conditions for plant growth, assisting with rapid
and diverse vegetation establishment.
Did you know?
Some overseas plasterboard plants are currently substituting up to 25% of their typical mined gypsum with high purity recycled gypsum.
ReGyp currently supplies Lafarge Plasterboard with gypsum in a closed-loop recycling contract. ReGyp also continues plant trials with numerous other Australian manufacturing companies for the supply of recycled gypsum for manufacturing.
