On-top of gypsum,
ReGyp has been experimenting with recycling fibre cement reinforced (FCR) board. The waste FCR product is hard to recycle due difficult product properties and high wear characteristics and little end use opportunities for the recycled product.
Currently this form of recycling is not commercially viable in Australia, but ReGyp is striving to find a feasible process to produce a product suitable for current manufacturing and construction end users.
Through ReGyp's current R&D program success, we believe we will have a machine operational in Sydney by Mid 2009. Providing a similar environmental solution that generates a win-win sustainable solution like the gypsum recycling operations.
